I'm a red-headed marine biologist and adventure enthusiast living in Hawai'i. That means that anything that protects me from the sun without slowing down my active lifestyle is a good thing. I've been aware of the concept of surf leggings for some time, but Kini Surf Wear's Sea Legs won me over.
Each piece of Kini Surf Wear handiwork is made to order on the Hawaiian Island of O'ahu by Cassidy Lum. That means that there is no big factory, wasted product, or unknown middle man. I can rest assured that my Sea Legs are coming from an avid surfer who has honed her craft and wants to share her passion.
Sea Legs have been a game changer. I can wear them around town with friends and be ready for a spontaneous swim. I can do yoga in them, hike in them, jump off waterfalls in them, and surf in them. And I don't have to worry about putting on sunscreen that will end up in the ocean and make me slide around on my surfboard. There is even a little key loop that has kept me sane many a time, as anyone who has locked herself out of her car can understand.
Through casual days and wear and tear, I have grown quite fond of my Sea Legs and matching Sports Top. In fact, I hardly go on any adventures without donning these versatile bottoms or tucking them away in my bag just in case.
Thank you to Kini Surf Wear for providing me with a free pair of Sea Legs and a Sports Top to photograph.
